Overview

The Support Shift Lead oversees all inbound client service and real-time dispatch operations during their assigned shift, guiding a team of Support Specialists and Dispatchers to meet service-level agreements and uphold communication standards.

In Short

  • Lead and support the Dispatcher and Support Specialists on duty.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for urgent client or operational issues.
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to elevate service quality.
  • Monitor queue health for support inquiries and dispatch tasks.
  • Approve or make rapid dispatch decisions.
  • Track shift activity in CRM and internal tools.
  • Maintain communication standards in all messages.
  • Submit a shift summary highlighting key wins and challenges.
  • Ensure Pet Stylists receive timely updates and support.
  • Achieve SLA targets and maintain balanced workload.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a customer service or dispatch-related role.
  • Leadership or team-lead experience required.
  • Ability to lead in fast-paced environments.
  • High proficiency with multi-channel communication tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine love for dogs and passion for Barkbus’ mission.
