In Short

• Join a dedicated accounting team at Barkbus.
• Oversee daily cash activity and bank reconciliation.
• Maintain lease records in compliance with ASC 842.
• Prepare monthly payroll accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Generate ad hoc reports for department leads.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data manipulation.
• Participate in financial reporting improvement projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager and business partners.
• Work US hours: 7pm - 3am PHT / 4am - 12pm PST.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills with data manipulation familiarity.
• Experience with month-end close processes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Planning and organizational skills with prioritization ability.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with knowledge of accounting cycles.
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork.
