Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

As Senior Accountant (f/m/d) at Parloa, your mission is to build scalable, efficient, and compliant accounting processes that support our rapid global growth from our Berlin HQ (or remote in Germany with quarterly to travel to Berlin). You’ll drive key initiatives across technical accounting, reporting, and systems—ensuring we meet the highest standards under IFRS/US GAAP. In this high-impact role, you'll partner closely with cross-functional teams to transform our finance operations into an AI-driven world-class function.

In Short

• Design and implement scalable accounting policies and internal controls in line with IFRS/US GAAP
• Build systems and reports to streamline the month-end close process
• Prepare, review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests
• Analyze monthly variances and explain business drivers
• Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional teams to solve process issues and drive improvements
• Partner with the Accounting Manager on ad hoc projects and general corporate accounting matters

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or a similar field
• 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally in tech or public/private accounting
• Deep knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP and technical accounting
• Strong analytical skills and experience developing efficient, scalable processes
• Detail-oriented, independent, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with NetSuite
• Familiarity with intercompany transactions, consolidation and foreign currency translation
• Experience with internal and external financial reporting, including audit support (preferred)
