• Implement design improvements to standard machines and accessories.
• Lead layout and process improvements across the shop floor.
• Collaborate with planning and design teams to refine product designs.
• Troubleshoot and address quality issues and assembly problems.
• Analyze workflow, equipment, and space requirements.
• Assist with the launch of new equipment.
• Manage ECR processes for controlling revisions and parts phase-in/out.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives on purchased and manufactured parts.
• Ensure SOPs and standards are current and accurate.
• Support purchasing with vendor source evaluations.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing environments involving machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office.
• Deep knowledge of pneumatic control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
