Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer at Boeing will work within the Engineering Team to create and manage part numbers and structures based on engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with customer configuration requirements and supporting various engineering functions.

In Short

  • Create part numbers and structures from engineering drawings
  • Engage in change board meetings to discuss part changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver materials
  • Ensure configuration control and validate engineering data
  • Manage Bills of Materials (BOM) within PDM/ERP systems
  • Attend meetings and support team coordination
  • Identify risks and opportunities throughout project lifecycle
  • Work flexible hours when necessary
  • Occasional travel for training and business development
  • Support other roles within the department as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or 5 years applicable experience
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and BOM
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various personnel levels
  • Experience with change management processes
  • Proficiency in PDM and ERP systems
  • Attention to detail and proactive mindset
  • Legal authorization to work in the UK required
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to support team meetings and training
