Overview

As a Manufacturing Engineer II at Sierra Nevada Corporation, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and improve cutting-edge products and services aimed at supporting mission objectives.

In Short

  • Develop tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.

  • Support the Department of Defense and commercial customers.
  • Maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Participate in product lifecycle management.
  • Work on advanced aerospace and defense systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in a related discipline.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
  • Background in aerospace and defense industry.
  • Experience with new product introduction.
  • Familiarity with PLM, MES, and MRP systems.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance.
