Finance & Billing Operations Specialist (Part-Time, Remote)

Overview

We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to contracts, invoices, and payments. This is a fully remote role with a company headquartered in Munich, Germany. Business-level English is essential, and a good understanding of German is required.

In Short

• Manage and maintain customer, contract, and billing data across systems.
• Oversee approximately 250 outgoing invoices per month.
• Handle contracts, contract changes, and cancellations.
• Monitor incoming payments and assign them correctly.
• Spot missing or delayed payments and follow up proactively.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication.
• Collaborate with external accounting and tax advisors.
• Support the implementation and optimization of finance and billing tools.
• Maintain a clear contract and billing database.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in finance operations, billing, preferably in a B2B setup.
• Highly structured and detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
• Experience with CRM, billing, and payment tools like HubSpot, Easybill, and Stripe.
• Solid understanding of commercial contracts, invoicing logic, and payment flows.
• Professional and friendly communication skills with customers.
• Familiarity with German and EU tax requirements.
• Business-fluent in English and German (C1 level).
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
• Comfortable working independently with a high level of ownership.
