Senior Privacy Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a technical lead on the Privacy team at Axon, you will be involved in the architecture decisions that shape privacy tools and services, working with cloud services that require high availability and performance.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain back-end systems for privacy and data compliance.
• Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Triage product or system issues and debug them.
• Mentor engineers.
• Work with the latest open source technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with cloud-based systems on Azure, AWS, or other public cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with data pipelines, data anonymization tools, and integrating 3rd party solutions.
• Experience with microservices, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Backend service experience in languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, or Python.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
