Overview

We are currently seeking Insurance Lawyers to work with Axiom's top tier clients.

In Short

  • Draft and negotiate contracts related to insurance products offerings or reinsurance contracts.
  • Provide legal advice to internal business units on a variety of legal, insurance regulatory, and underwriting compliance issues for commercial lines business units.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research to help ensure compliance with applicable insurance law and regulations.
  • Review and design documents, policy forms, prospectuses, and registration statements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in-house with insurance company or financial services organization handling insurance product related matters.
  • Experience advising on insurance product development and drafting and negotiating relevant documentation.
  • Property and casualty experience would be ideal.
  • Experience with insurance and reinsurance deal process; Life and annuities products.
  • Deep understanding of state and federal law regulating annuities and other insurance related products.
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing reinsurance documents is beneficial.
