Overview

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing uptime for our customer facing system infrastructure globally and maintaining all our applications’ system infrastructure. Ability to design and scale infrastructure for global availability for performance, uptime, and cost is needed in the role. If you’re passionate about cloud-based infrastructure, automation, and keeping systems stable at scale, we want to hear from you.

In Short

  • Automate reproducible infrastructure to maintain predictably and security.
  • Support infrastructure for both production and development systems.
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment Infrastructure: working knowledge of Git, CI tools like Github Actions, Jenkins to maintain continuous builds & deployments.
  • Maintain hundreds of servers through predictable and repeatable automation with provisioning and configuration management tools like SaltStack and Terraform.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines tailored for mobile app development.
  • Collaborate with mobile development teams to optimize the infrastructure for mobile-specific requirements.
  • Set up monitoring and observability tools for mobile infrastructure.
  • Share strong knowledge in Linux/Unix administration.
  • Maintain enterprise-grade backups and understanding of data encryption.
  • Respond and troubleshoot Production outages 24/7 for a global SaaS platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • 5+ years of experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, and/or SaltStack).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Go.
  • Expertise in container technologies (Kubernetes) and networking tools.
  • Working knowledge of RESTful microservices architecture design.
  • Ability to design global, highly available architecture.
