Overview

Avery Dennison Solutions Group is seeking a Master Data Governance Lead to drive the design, implementation, and enforcement of data governance policies, ensuring the quality, consistency, and integrity of master data across the organization.

• Define, develop, and enforce master data governance policies.
• Establish frameworks and procedures for managing data governance.
• Manage the Data Governance Council to align stakeholders.
• Take ownership of data quality issues and ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with data owners and IT teams to resolve data inconsistencies.
• Guide and mentor data stewards across business functions.
• Develop and maintain a data roadmap aligned with business needs.
• Ensure data governance aligns with broader business strategies.
• Communicate data governance policies effectively to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory data requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data governance or management.
• Expertise in master data management tools and ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks.
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing data councils.
• Ability to analyze data quality metrics and drive improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to data governance preferred.
