Senior Workday HCM Business Systems Analyst - Remote

Overview

Avalara is looking for an experienced Workday subject matter expert in hire to retire lifecycle to manage, improve, design, and scale our Workday HCM related processes serving both internal and external business partners. We ask that you have a passion to enhance HCM product quality through technical proficiency, team mentoring and business partnership skills. You will report to the Manager, People Technology Architecture.

In Short

• Must have 7+ years of experience with Workday HCM
• Analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
• Identify gaps and provide technical expertise in our requirements for system functional specifications.
• Configure system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing.
• Design details of automated systems and provide consultation to users.
• Lead linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in supporting/implementing HCM applications.
• Supported at least TWO end-to-end implementations of Workday HCM.
• Understanding of impacts to HCM processes and data feeds.
• Hands-on configuration experience of Workday Core HR, Security and Business Processes.
• Create Workday custom reports and dashboards.
• Workday Pro Certifications.
• Experience with SOX concepts.
