Overview

The Vice President of Product, Medical Cost Containment & Authorization will lead the strategy and execution of the Utilization Management product portfolio at Availity, a pioneer in healthcare technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, RN, MD).
• 10+ years in healthcare product management or related fields.
• 5+ years in a senior product leadership role.
• Deep expertise in prior authorization and utilization review.
• Strong understanding of managed care and payer operations.
• Experience with clinical teams and medical policy development.
• Proven success in launching complex healthcare products.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills for executive-level engagement.
• Comfortable in fast-changing, regulated environments.
