Overview

We are seeking a Principal Conversational Designer to help us shape the future of Autodesk Assistant. You will be pivotal to the Autodesk Assistant by providing conversational design expertise utilized across the Autodesk ecosystem.

• Drive, design, and refine holistic conversational AI experiences for Autodesk Assistant.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the company.
• Lead cross-functional exploration, analysis, and problem-solving efforts.
• Extend, create, and communicate new patterns and concepts for the Autodesk Assistant platform.
• Advocate for customer-focused solutions.
• Mentor other designers.
• Conduct research and leverage data to guide decision-making.
• Expert in human-centered design and conversational design.
• 8+ years of experience in conversational design or a related field.
• Strong understanding of conversational AI platforms and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Linguistics, or related field.
• Proven track record of designing impactful conversational AI experiences.
• Excellent communication skills and adept at cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with conversational AI platforms like ChatGPT, Alexa, etc.
• Understanding of natural language processing (NLP), generative AI, or machine learning principles.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in related field.
• Stay updated with trends in AI and conversational design.
• Proficient in AI tools and prototyping tools.
