Overview

The Research Programmer Analyst will assist in defining functional requirements and developing technical specifications to support cardiovascular research initiatives. This role involves designing and delivering data requests, collaborating with investigators, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

In Short

  • Full-time remote position focused on cardiovascular research.
  • Develop and deliver ad hoc data requests for research studies.
  • Collaborate with investigators to gather requirements and produce estimates.
  • Document processes and maintain data dictionaries.
  • Develop, test, and debug SQL, R, Python, or SAS code.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
  • Contribute to documentation and code repositories.
  • Requires Epic Clinical Data Model certification within 6 months.
  • 4 years of experience in data management or related field.
  • Proficient in SQL and programming languages relevant to data analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in data management, manipulation, and report writing.
  • Knowledge of data integration and enterprise data warehouse systems.
  • Proficient in SQL and programming languages (R, Python, SAS).
  • Understanding of healthcare data and research methodologies.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Strong analytical and logical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
