Senior BI Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior BI Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions as part of the Data platform-Data delivery team, contributing to video ad verification, analytics, and anti ad fraud software products.

In Short

• Architect, design, code and maintain dashboards, models, queries on Looker connecting to Databricks / Snowflake / S3
• Work with business users, product owners, data scientists and engineers to translate needs into technical requirements
• Contribute to the entire software lifecycle including development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the team
• Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and trends

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of recent hands-on experience in BI development
• In-depth understanding of Looker
• Solid experience in building dashboards and visualizations
• Strong understanding of SQL, Data modeling and ETL
• Knowledge of data formats such as Parquet, JSON, CSV, Avro
• Experience with Big Data frameworks and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks), databases (RedShift, Snowflake)
• Experience in full software development, Agile, and CI/CD
• Experience building production level systems in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
