Overview

The Student Accounts Representative is responsible for managing various process-driven tasks within the Student Accounts department, providing counseling to students and families about their accounts, and overseeing student employees.

In Short

• Manage student account functions including billing and refunds.
• Coordinate invoicing for third parties.
• Serve as the primary contact for student accounts software.
• Counsel students on payment options and billing issues.
• Supervise and train student employees.
• Perform reconciliation of daily cash batches.
• Present information at student orientations.
• Maintain office operations and supplies.
• Work in a hybrid environment with both on-campus and remote days.
• Engage in problem-solving and communication with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three years of related professional experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to providing access to higher education.
• Experience in customer service or financial services is preferred.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, or Arabic are a plus.
