Web Developer - Help Center Redesign (Contract) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer Contractor to lead the redesign and redevelopment of our customer-facing Help Center. This is a project-based contract role with an estimated duration of 3-6 months.

In Short

• Lead the end-to-end redesign and development of our Help Center.
• Gather requirements and translate them into a clear technical and design plan.
• Build a responsive, mobile-friendly interface within the Zendesk platform.
• Integrate with our existing knowledge base platform.
• Ensure the new Help Center is scalable and easy to maintain.
• Optimize the site for fast loading times and SEO.
• Perform testing and quality assurance.
• Document the technical architecture and provide a handover.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a web developer, with at least 5 years of experience.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience customizing and building themes within Zendesk Guide.
• Familiarity with Zendesk curlybars and coding structure.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Experience with API integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills.
