Android Developer - Remote

Overview

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company. This is a remote position. With a sufficient timezone overlap with the team, we’re able to hire eligible candidates for this role from any location in Australia and New Zealand.

Build and ship high‑impact Android features that let teams plan, track, and collaborate on the go. You’ll work closely with product, design, and other engineering squads to deliver a fast, reliable, and secure Android app that also incorporates new AI‑driven capabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of native Android development with Kotlin.
• Strong grasp of Android architecture patterns.
• Proficient with CI/CD for Android.
• Skilled in unit and UI testing frameworks.
• Excellent collaboration in a distributed environment.
• Passion for solving complex problems and user-centric solutions.
