Overview

The Director, Medical Services oversees athletic training and wellness operations for Athletes Unlimited, ensuring athletes receive optimal care and support across multiple sports.

In Short

Lead the athletic training and wellness program.
Manage a team of trainers for injury prevention and treatment.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the training room.
Coordinate with mental health care partners.
Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
Develop customized injury prevention strategies.
Attend practices and games for on-site care.
Handle administrative duties related to medical services.
Maintain a safe and organized training environment.
Lead insurance onboarding and post-season injury wrap-up.

Requirements

Experience in athletic training and sports medicine.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of injury prevention and rehabilitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced sports environment.
Proficiency in managing medical operations and documentation.
Commitment to athlete health and performance.
Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
Ability to travel for practices and events as needed.
Strong organizational skills.
