Head Cleaner/Housekeeper - Remote Camp

Overview

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Head Cleaner/Camp Attendant to join our Camp Services team in Northern British Columbia. The Head Cleaner oversees general housekeeping, linen cleaning, and maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within all living units.

In Short

• Provide leadership, supervision, training, coaching, and support to Camp Attendants and Janitors.
• Effectively delegate tasks and ensure duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Input payroll daily to ensure hours for each employee are correct.
• Assign daily workloads according to the linen tracker.
• Update linen tracker daily.
• Review and monitor daily schedules to maintain effective coverage for workload completion.
• Maintain clear communication and coordination with the Front Desk and camp managers.
• Address and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Conduct weekly and monthly inventories to ensure sufficient housekeeping supplies.
• Perform daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas.

Requirements

• Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset.
• 2+ years in a housekeeping role and 2–3 years in a supervisory role required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel, and Outlook.
