HSEQ Advisor - Remote Camp

Overview

ATCO Frontec is seeking an on-site Health, Safety, Environment, And Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to join our Camp Services team in Northern British Columbia. The HSEQ Advisor is responsible for planning organizing, coordinating, coaching, implementing, monitoring, and reporting on the HSEQ Management Program overall for the lodge. They are a key member of a multi-disciplinary team and assist in the mitigation and management of HSE risks.

In Short

• Completing regular site audits and providing staff training.
• Developing and updating HSE documentation.
• Conducting work site inspections and hazard analysis.
• Managing site inspections and audit programs.
• Ensuring closure of corrective actions.
• Processing and reporting accidents and incidents.
• Coaching staff on HSEQ responsibilities.
• Monitoring changes in HSEQ legislation.
• Managing the site ERP program.
• Assisting in KPI reporting and HSE reports.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Health and Safety.
• CRSP Designation or scheduled to complete designation.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in Health and Safety.
• Experience with OHS cultural turnarounds in remote locations is an asset.
• Strong analytical and measurement skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environment management systems.
• HSE data input and report generation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; French is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license.
