Accounting and HR Officer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting and HR Officer to oversee daily financial management and human resource operations.

In Short

• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Reconcile bank statements; assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and records
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Maintain employee records and HR databases
• Coordinate recruitment processes: job postings, screening, interview scheduling
• Manage payroll, benefits administration, and leave tracking
• Support performance evaluation and training initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in both accounting and HR functions
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite
• Experience in payroll processing, invoicing, and bank reconciliation
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage both financial and HR responsibilities
