Pattern SDET, Market Regulation Team - Remote

Overview

Our client, one of the largest Amazon Web Services (AWS) partners for data services, is looking for a Jr to Senior level Pattern SDET to contribute to join their team of technologists to build and contribute to large-scale, innovative projects. The SDET's responsibilities include both software development and testing tasks and focus on the testability, robustness, and performance of production software.

In Short

• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
• Creating and executing test cases based on project documents and customer demands.
• Writing SQL queries for testing purposes.
• Setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks across multiple platforms.
• Investigating customer problems and managing bug reports.
• Handling technical communications and understanding customer systems.
• Working with deployment teams to resolve system issues.
• Contributing to product design and testability discussions.
• Minimum 3 years of IT industry experience required.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, Scala, JavaScript.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the IT industry.
• Strong SQL skills for testing.
• Experience with FinTech is preferred.
• Back-end/Data testing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Spark is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent designing and programming skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• AWS exposure is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
