Sr. DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Sr. DevOps Engineer will play a key role in supporting the modernization journey of our client, which serves the nation's military and Veterans, by designing, developing, and maintaining automated build and release structures and deployment pipelines.

In Short

• Long-term contract position for 2+ years.

• Setup and maintain build infrastructure.
• Create and maintain deployment scripts.
• Perform periodic builds and deployments to production.
• Collaborate with IT teams on release activities.
• Administer Azure DevOps Servers and manage user access.
• Document build and release processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production issues.
• Investigate and implement new tools for deployment efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of DevOps Engineering experience.
• Experience with a high-level programming language (e.g., VB.NET).
• 2+ years with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
• Experience in high availability environments.
• Proficient in Powershell scripting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development.
• Military experience may be considered.
