IT Operations and Innovation Lead - Remote

Aroundhome is the leading online platform that helps homeowners find suitable professionals for their home-related projects. As a platform provider, we work with complex systems and processes to best support our customers and the teams in sales and customer service. With around 250 employees, we are looking for an experienced and committed leader to head and further develop our internal IT administration team.

In Short

• Lead, support, and develop a small team of IT administrators.
• Responsible for the administration and maintenance of internal systems like servers, networks, and software tools.
• Plan, budget, and execute demanding IT projects for the development of internal technologies.
• Ensure data and system security through audits and proactive measures.
• Guarantee the availability, integrity, and security of our IT infrastructure.
• Centralized control of the procurement and use of hardware and software.
• Develop and implement policies and standards for technology use and system stability.

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification, or at least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven successes in a comparable leadership role, ideally in a technology-driven company.
• Solid technical knowledge and practical experience in system administration and network management.
• Experience in the implementation and migration of SaaS solutions.
• Strong leadership and team skills as well as excellent communication skills in both German and English.
• Structured and independent working style, able to maintain an overview in a fast-paced environment.
