Overview

Arista Networks is seeking a Senior/Lead Network Systems software engineer to manage hardware components on switches and routers, collaborating with customers and hardware engineers to design and build innovative features.

In Short

• Work with customers, product management, and hardware engineers.
• Design and build features for network systems software.

Requirements

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience (or equivalent).
• Expert knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
• Knowledge of UNIX or Linux.
• Experience in hardware device drivers and system management utilities.
• Understanding of IP networking and distributed systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in small teams.
