• Maintaining and developing strong client relationships on various tax consulting/compliance engagements.
• Advising clients on multistate tax planning and audit defense.
• Overseeing complex pass-through entity state tax compliance projects.
• Researching tax issues including pass-through entity taxes and nexus considerations.
• Managing engagement workflow and team resources.
• Providing leadership and career guidance for the engagement team.
• 5+ years of overall tax experience required.
• Ability to work with a fully remote team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills needed.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively at all levels.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of SALT specific experience.
• CPA, JD, or CMI – Income Tax preferred.
• Strong understanding of pass-through entity taxation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
