Overview

Join Aprio's Risk Advisory and Assurance Services team as a Senior Assessor (CCA or LCCA) and help clients maximize their opportunities while ensuring compliance with US Government cybersecurity standards.

In Short

• Lead and manage US Government cybersecurity compliance engagements.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders.
• Oversee and mentor a team of assessors and auditors.
• Develop frameworks and tools for efficient assessment deployment.
• Identify risks and collaborate with clients on remediation plans.
• Ensure continuous monitoring and compliance of client systems.
• Partner with business development to expand service offerings.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory standards and integrate changes.
• Communicate technical findings to non-technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity and compliance.
• Experience managing engagements under CMMC, NIST, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls and audit criteria.
• Leadership experience and ability to mentor staff.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical issues.
• Ability to travel to client sites for assessments.
• Successful completion of required DoD CMMC Tier 3 background investigation.
• Recognized LCCA or CCA certification.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client engagements effectively.
