Overview

The Gordian Facilities Planning team is seeking a Senior Facilities Assessor to conduct condition assessments of mechanical systems in various facilities, providing valuable insights to clients.

In Short

• Conduct facility assessments in the mechanical discipline.
• Travel nationally and occasionally internationally for assessments.
• Review client documentation and perform visual inspections.
• Collaborate with client facilities management staff.
• Document findings using mobile collection software.
• Develop cost estimates for facility replacements.
• Ensure quality assurance of assessment findings.
• Provide support for client inquiries related to assessments.
• Maintain focus on critical tasks to drive results.
• Possess strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility assessment or related fields.
• P.Eng. or OAA license required.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Experience with RS Means or similar cost data sets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and mobile devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Technical certifications and government clearance are a plus.
• Multi-discipline knowledge in various engineering fields is a plus.
