Cloud Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a crucial customer-facing role where you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and securing complex cloud environments for our clients across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a strong emphasis on GCP.

In Short

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud security architectures.
• Respond to customer inquiries and create supporting documentation.
• Manage and troubleshoot cloud-native firewalls and WAFs.
• Review security alerts and enhance current alerting capabilities.
• Guide on securing SaaS applications and lead compliance initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and deliver presentations.
• Support incident response activities and create documentation.
• Run vulnerability management and penetration testing programs.
• Continuously research emerging cloud security threats and technologies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 4+ years in cloud security engineering.
• Expertise in GCP security tools and practices.
• Experience securing environments in Azure and AWS.
• Advanced scripting skills for automation.
• Strong grasp of network security concepts.
• Proficient with SIEM platforms.
• Experience managing firewalls and WAFs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
