Overview

Apprentice is looking for several Business Development Representatives to add to our team who are experienced in driving top-of-the-funnel leads and who have demonstrated success in converting leads in a high-volume environment.

In Short

  • Drive top of the funnel lead generation for Sales Executives
  • Research, identify, and prospect into ideal customer profiles via outbound channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Qualify inbound leads and route qualified prospects to Sales Executives
  • Relentlessly drive stage progression
  • Co-own pipeline creation goals and consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly activity metrics and quota
  • Personalize outreach with relevance and insight
  • Use tools like SFDC, Salesloft, Zoominfo, Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc. to manage outreach and track performance
  • Partner closely with Sales Executives and Marketing to iterate on messaging and targeting
  • Serve as a consultative partner during discovery calls
  • Contribute feedback on market trends, objections, and insights to help improve our playbooks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • Prior experience in manufacturing and SaaS, with a strong preference for both
  • At least 1+ years of relevant work experience in SaaS and Life Sciences (or another related field)
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, life sciences, biotech, and pharmaceuticals is highly desired but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
