Senior Manager and Head of Data Engineering - Remote

Overview

Appfire is hiring a full-time Senior Manager and Head of Data Engineering! In this key role, you will be responsible for Appfire’s central data asset, driving the next phase of data-driven decisions and data products by creating and executing an enterprise-wide data strategy.

In Short

• Lead Appfire’s data ecosystem, defining a vision for what data means to the company.
• Manage and grow a global team of Data Engineers.
• Push the boundaries of Firelake through experimentation and integration.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency and efficiency for company-wide data.
• Own Data Governance standards in partnership with executive leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering.
• 4+ years of experience leading Data Engineering teams.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proven experience building and executing company-wide data strategies.
• Experience with Python, SQL, AWS, DBT, and Snowflake.
