Overview

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for generating new business, retaining existing clients, and fostering growth through the expansion of products and services in Northern Europe and the UK. This position is remote but requires 60% travel.

In Short

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to acquire new business opportunities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • Own the accurate forecasting of your account base.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies.
  • Build strategic customer relationships with key decision makers.
  • Drive identification and creation of new sales opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends to identify competitive advantages.
  • Provide feedback regarding pricing and competition.
  • Manage travel and living expense budget.
  • Perform quarterly business reviews with key account decision makers.

Requirements

  • Must live in Northern Europe or the UK.
  • Sales experience in the UK and Continental Europe required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in direct consultative selling.
  • Gas turbine knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to speak and write in German, French, and English.
  • Experience handling transactional and contractual relationships.
  • Education in engineering or a technical background preferred.
  • Experience with electrical control products preferred.
  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A willingness to travel 60% of the time.
