Tax Director - Remote

Overview

Angi® is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Tax Director to lead our direct tax and tax provision functions in a dynamic, marketplace environment, overseeing domestic and international income tax compliance and ASC 740 tax accounting.

In Short

• Lead quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision processes.
• Manage deferred taxes and valuation allowances.
• Ensure SOX-compliant internal controls over tax reporting.
• Partner with global finance teams for timely tax return filings.
• Maintain documentation for transfer pricing and foreign tax credits.
• Monitor global tax reform developments.
• Identify strategic tax planning opportunities.
• Support M&A due diligence and structuring.
• Evaluate tax impacts of digital marketplace operations.
• Collaborate with various teams to align tax strategy with business priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Tax or JD/LLM preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in U.S. federal, state, and international income tax.
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage tax provision processes for multinational companies.
• Experience in fast-paced environments (eCommerce, SaaS, digital retail).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and tax compliance tools.
• Exposure to OECD Pillar Two or BEPS 2.0 implementation.
