Head of Global Payroll - Remote

Overview

Angi is looking for a Head of Global Payroll to lead and scale our payroll operations across the U.S. and internationally. This is a highly visible leadership role within the Accounting organization responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll for a large, complex workforce operating across multiple compensation structures and jurisdictions.

In Short

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing for 1,600 U.S. & Canadian employees.
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and efficiently.
• Serve as Angi’s internal payroll subject matter expert.
• Manage and develop a team of four payroll professionals.
• Coordinate with payroll providers across France, UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.
• Support month-end close and payroll accrual calculations.
• Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, HR Benefits, and HRIS.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate payroll functions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of payroll experience, including leadership experience.
• Experience managing payroll for large employee populations.
• Experience with equity awards and multi-state payroll regulations.
• Extensive experience with UKG is required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations.
• Working knowledge of Canadian & European payroll requirements.
• Experience leading and developing payroll teams.
• Strong internal controls mindset and familiarity with SOX environments.
• Highly detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• Strong collaborator with proven ability to partner effectively.
