Senior Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

Angi is seeking an exceptional Senior Data Scientist who can enable our transformation into a world-class online marketplace. The role is on our Data Science & Machine Learning team, tackling challenges such as search ranking, paid marketing optimization, and leveraging predictive models to enhance our product and consumer experience.

In Short

• Lead development of predictive models and algorithms to improve Service Professional product and operations.
• Implement robust MLOps practices for seamless deployment and scalability of predictive models.
• Develop robust design of experiment and statistical frameworks to evaluate data science solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, sales directors, and designers on scalable solutions.
• Foster innovation within the team to solve complex business problems.
• Guide junior team members and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).
• 5+ years of experience in data science & machine learning, ideally within tech and marketplace environments.
• Expert in machine learning and statistical model development.
• Proven track record of deploying impactful machine learning models.
• Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience in cloud ML solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
