Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team supporting U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services operations. As a Data Analyst, you will support robust and repeatable data manipulation, analysis, and stunning data visualization using technologies such as SQL, Python, Databricks and Tableau. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, innovative, process-minded, has excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills along with a solid background in working with data and quantitative analysis.

In Short

  • Prepares big data and implements analytics models using SQL and Python within a Databricks data environment.
  • Responsible for data mining, data preparation, data profiling and reporting.
  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative service operations research using client data.
  • Applies knowledge to determine the accuracy and reasonableness of the data.
  • Documents and summarizes the results and develops recommended solutions.
  • Use advanced statistical techniques to identify and measure trends.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Must exhibit hyper attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to mathematics, economics, data science, statistics, or computer science.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of experience in data analysis using SQL, Python.
  • Strong SQL skills, and ability to identify issues with data.
  • Experience with Databricks or similar cloud-based distributed database technologies.
  • Experience with Tableau, or PowerBI.
  • Demonstrated experience with cleaning, management, optimizing performance of large data.
  • Ability to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
  • Proficient written, verbal, and client communication skills.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and able to clear a Public Trust.
  • Nice to have prior experience with USCIS or immigration.
