Data Analyst - Remote

In Short

• Responsible for delivering on-demand, automated, and customizable reporting and insights.
• Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Work with business counterparts to understand the business context and requirements.
• Gain a deep understanding of the data model and data elements.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources.
• Build client-facing output formats and support automation for repeatable reports.
• Perform root cause analysis on data issues or anomalies.
• Contribute to developing scalable, self-service BI dashboards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve data pipelines and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in the PBM and/or Health Plan Experience.
• Expertise in data models and data modeling.
• Knowledge and experience in process modeling.
• Ability to understand the business context and underlying processes.
• Deep knowledge with data retrieval and manipulation using SQL.
• Experience with reporting packages (e.g. Qlik, Tableau).
• Familiarity with data warehouse architecture (Snowflake, MongoDB).
• Experience in working with large datasets and normalized pharmacy schemas.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
