Overview

As a Customer Solutions Engineer on our Professional Services team, you will partner with Technical Consultants and Service Leads to develop, optimize, and deliver client databases using Amperity’s powerful database generation and segmentation tools.

In Short

  • Own the performance and scalability of database creation and SQL creation within the Amperity platform.
  • Partner with project teams to prioritize, scope, and coordinate their use of your time.
  • Provide feedback to Service Leads on customer requirements.
  • Implement production-grade marketer-friendly databases and queries.
  • 8 years of experience in software development or professional services required.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL queries.
  • Experience with Apache Spark and Spark SQL is a plus.
  • Experience working with cloud storage technologies.
  • Consult directly with customers on specific technical items or issues.
  • Relentlessly curious and eager to learn new technologies.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in software development, software implementation or professional services.
  • A wide breadth of technical knowledge.
  • A creative, versatile approach to solving problems with technology.
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL queries, and optimization.
  • Experience with Apache Spark and Spark SQL is a distinct plus.
  • Experience working with cloud storage technologies.
  • Databricks or Snowflake experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work and consult directly with customers.
