Overview

The Production Support Engineering team plays a key role at Amount by ensuring production issues are managed efficiently and effectively. You will manage high-priority issues to resolution following industry best practices. You’ll troubleshoot, fix, and apply workarounds to resolve technical issues across multiple platforms.

  • Manage high-priority issues to resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and fix technical issues across multiple platforms.
  • Interact with various teams including engineering, product, and QA.
  • Manage ticket queues and monitor for issues.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Drive incident resolution and lead cross-functional conversations.
  • Document all relevant events and status reports.
  • Conduct postmortem analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Compile metrics and maintain dashboards for service incidents.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents.

Requirements

  • Technical and/or engineering background with SQL experience.
  • Experience in fast-paced development environments.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or Ruby.
  • 2 years of experience in incident coordination.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills and quick decision-making ability.
  • Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL concepts.
  • Self-starter attitude in stressful situations.
  • Experience with tools like Confluence, Jira, and PagerDuty.
  • Knowledge of error monitoring software (Sentry, Kibana).
