The Global Quality Analytics and Innovation team at Amgen is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of AI-driven solutions that enhance quality and compliance in regulated environments.

In Short

Design and deploy generative AI and LLM applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI/ML opportunities.
Lead MLOps pipeline development for model deployment and monitoring.
Conduct data quality assessments and data cleansing.
Ensure compliance with GxP and regulatory standards.
Utilize frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
Develop evaluation metrics for prompt engineering.
Work in an Agile (SAFe) environment.
Communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
Support regulatory inspection readiness and technological advancements.

Requirements

Doctorate or Master’s degree with relevant experience.
Proven experience with LLM applications and ML algorithms.
Expertise in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Familiarity with MLOps tools and cloud platforms.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and visualization tools.
Knowledge of GxP compliance and regulated environments.
Strong communication skills and initiative.
Experience in healthcare, biotech, or life sciences is a plus.
