Senior Data Scientist - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist at SGS, you will be part of the Digital Builders Organization, driving IT solutions and implementing data MVPs to support the company's digital transformation.

In Short

• Collaborate with Business Units to understand business problems solvable by AI and Machine Learning.
• Provide technical expertise in executing use cases with IT collaboration.
• Support the Product Owner in defining project scope and metrics.
• Work with architects to develop data solutions from MVP to final implementation.
• Own AI/ML and data components in MVP implementations.
• Leverage data to build products in collaboration with data owners.
• Promote the DBO Data Team's work to discover new use cases.
• Lead projects effectively within a team environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in AI/ML solution development.
• Degree in Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Python for Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI.
• MLOps/DevOps experience.
• Statistical knowledge is a plus.
• Aptitude for analytics and project management skills are valued.
• Effective communication skills in English and local languages.
