Overview

The Manager Medical Data & Analytics – Platform will lead the technical team that develops and implements technology strategies and solutions to support Amgen’s Global Medical business function, making a significant impact on patient care.

In Short

  • Lead a high-performing Agile Product Team.

  • Implement a robust DevOps pipeline using CI/CD frameworks.
  • Oversee development to deployment of data integration pipelines and APIs.

  • Develop and mentor engineers and data scientists.
  • Establish relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

  • Support the organization’s goals through technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree with 8-13 years of Information Systems experience.
  • 10+ years in IT with experience in software applications in Health & Life Sciences.
  • 3+ years supporting Medical Affairs business teams.
  • Experience in end-to-end DevOps and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Datalake technologies like Databricks and MuleSoft.
  • In-depth knowledge of SDLC processes and data warehousing.
  • Leadership experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or technology organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work with global, virtual teams.
