Overview

As an Associate Software Engineer at Amgen, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions on the MuleSoft Platform that meet business needs and ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications.

In Short

  • Design, develop, and test APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Write clean, reusable, and scalable code in Python, Java, or other supported languages.
  • Participate in configuration reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
  • Work with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and common integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers.
  • Follow secure development and deployment practices.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications.
  • Utilize Copado for source control and deployment management.
  • Collaborate with quality and validation teams for testing.
  • Maintain documentation including technical design and solution architecture.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 6 years of experience in Computer Science or IT.
  • Hands-on development experience with Python, Java, or similar languages.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and XML.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Willingness to learn MuleSoft and enterprise integration technologies.
  • Exposure to or understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Experience with Java, SQL, and cloud platforms.
  • Professional certifications like MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive mindset.
