WAN/SD-WAN Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a WAN/SD-WAN expert engineer with over 8 years of experience to work on the design of WAN architectures in France and Backbone.

In Short

• Design and implement future SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet).
• Set up production frameworks and prototypes.
• Support deployment teams during pilot phases.
• Document technical specifications (HLD, LLD, DAT, operational procedures, acceptance criteria, etc.).
• Train operational teams on implemented solutions.
• Provide level 3 support for complex incidents.
• Experience in SD-WAN solution design/migration.
• Strong knowledge of WAN technologies and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with automation solutions for WAN.
• Fluent in English and French.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in WAN/SD-WAN.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN solutions from major providers.
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols, especially BGP.
• Proficiency in network administration and security.
• Experience with Cisco and Juniper routing solutions.
• Knowledge of Python for network automation.
• Strong organizational and writing skills.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for clients.
• Technical English proficiency (oral and written).
• Experience in creating technical documentation.
