In Short

  • Develop and manage system requirements using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles.
  • Design, model, and analyse system architectures using tools such as Enterprise Architect or Capella.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration in an aerospace environment.
  • Support system verification and validation, ensuring compliance with airworthiness and defence standards.
  • Contribute to system design reviews, providing expertise on MBSE best practices and technical documentation.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, models, and system verification to support project lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering within Aerospace, Defence, or a similar complex engineering environment.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field or a UK military technical background.
  • Strong background in Requirements Engineering, with experience in tools like DOORS.
  • Proficiency in MBSE methodologies, including SysML and UML.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Architect, Capella, or similar modelling tools.
  • Understanding of system verification, validation, and compliance processes.
  • Ability to work within structured engineering processes in accordance with industry standards.
