In Short

• Apply engineering principles to support design and verification across aerospace and defense programs.
• Lead analysis, design, and optimization of aerodynamic and thermal systems.
• Conduct trade studies for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical documentation and support design reviews.
• Support wind tunnel and thermal testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master of Science, or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.
• Experience with high-temperature materials and ablative thermal protection systems.
• Experience with thermal protection system sizing and analysis tools.
• Exposure to aerothermal wind tunnel and flight testing.
• Experience with CFD tools for aerospace vehicles.
• Strong programming skills in languages like MATLAB, Python, C++, etc.
