In Short

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Aerospace product development.
  • Interpret and apply industry standards like AWS, ASTM, AMS, and ASME Y14.5-2009.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
  • Create visual aids and diagrams to enhance technical content.
  • Maintain version control and document management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Aerospace industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to access to export-controlled information.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing within aerospace or defense.
  • Proficiency with authoring tools and familiarity with CAD tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or related field.
  • Experience with AWS D17.1/D1.1 welding codes.
  • Knowledge of ASTM and AMS specifications.
  • Strong understanding of Aerospace design and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
