Overview

Altarum is seeking a dynamic and versatile Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and other support to our enterprising HR team, focusing on improving health outcomes for individuals with fewer financial resources.

In Short

  • Hybrid role requiring 2 days per week in the Novi office.
  • Facilitates daily HR functions including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manages employee records and ensures they are up to date.
  • Runs ad-hoc reports in HRIS and analyzes data.
  • Supports Employee Recognition programs.
  • Maintains HR intranet sites in SharePoint.
  • Provides administrative support to the HR department.
  • Requires 1-3 years of HR experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Must work during eastern time unless approved by manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience.
  • 1-3 years of internship or professional experience in HR.
  • Experience with HRIS (UltiPro or UKG preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work confidentially and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR practices is a plus.
